“Open IE specific pages in Firefox”

This extension is derived from the famous extension IE View, but they are quite different. While IE View always open IE-only pages in newly launched windows of Internet Explorer, IE Tab can open them in tabs of Mozilla/Firefox.


Current Behavior:


1. Toolbar Button & Status-bar Icon:



  • Left-Click: Switch engine and view in "current page"
  • Middle-Click: Switch engine and view in "new tab"
  • Right-Click: Popup options-dialog (add current page's URL to "always view in ietab" list)
  • [Ctrl]+Left-Click: Same as Middle-Click


2. Context Menu:



  • Click on page: View this page in IE Tab
  • Click on link: Open this link in IE Tab
